Ogre has signed on to appear in the upcoming production, Scream Park. Here is what they have to say:::
The film is based on an original screenplay, styled after the 1980s slasher horror films. The story is about an amusement park going out of business and the owner crafting a murderous plot to keep the park open. The project is being headed by ProtoMedia Productions and produced by Cary Hill. Ogre is the second 80s icon to join the film after Hellraiser’s Doug Bradley. Ogre will be playing a backwoods Deliverance-type mountain man, hired by Bradley to gruesomely off the park’s employees to create a publicity stunt to keep selling tickets. Ogre is excited to take the role and work with grass roots filmmaking. Hill will also helm the film, making it his directorial debut.
In order to get the production going, the producers are running a Kickstarter campaign, with some pledge levels granting items signed by Ogre and supporters being including in a drawing for an iPad. Visit here to see the teaser trailer!

I’ve been unforgivably lax in mentioning it here, but you’ve probably heard by now that Ogre is appearing in the new film by Darren Lynn Bousman, The Devil’s Carnival, a guided tour through hell’s amusement park. Reuniting much of the cast and creative team behind Repo!, this movie features Ogre as The Twin, a “shifty” role requiring him to spend a lot of time in the make-up chair.
Ogre is also featured on the soundtrack in the song Beautiful Stranger which is available to preview of purchase here.
The film is being revealed to the public on a road tour with special guests, a Q&A, and a VIP meet and greet. If you’re in El Paso, you can see it tonight! For more info on the tour, click here.

You’ve probably heard a bit about the Ministry documentary film, Fix. Available in conjunction is Paul Barker’s new record, Fix This!!!, which features such guests as Chris Connelly, Puscifer, Taylor Momsen, and our very own pal Ogre. If my ever-aging and processed-food-addled memory is correct, this marks their first recorded work together since 1990. Here’s what Paul had to say for Litany about their track, reSpite:::
I talked to Ogre about this fresh idea I had: make a generic thrash metal record and sing about current lame political woes using sesame street lyrics, but I still have all my teeth and wanted songs with a little more bite than that. After many hilarious phone calls a deal was struck: I write the music and he writes and sings the lyrics. So I sent Ogre a rough song I wrote. Unfortunately, our schedules didn’t allow us to track together, so he and Mark Walk sent me finished vocals and I finished the mix. Not nearly as much fun as being together in the studio, but fun nonetheless. All 1’s and 0’s- very modern.
The album will be available on April 3rd or you can purchase and download this song right now.
